but! 192.168.0.102, 192.168.0.101, 192.168.0.100 should be found according to your precedent screenshot, assuming this computer is connected to the same network ... anyhow it seems like we are beating a dead horse here:
- board has an ancient version of beagleboard image
- suspected broken micro SD card socket
- does not seem to have DHCP running, nor accept being given an address via internet sharing, nor assuming one of the common static addresses
- does not respond on beaglebone.local
- does not request for DHCP over ethernet

so yes please. If they have the micro SD cards that came with them (if any), make sure you get one of those as well. They may be ancient but better than this I guess ...
