• Gliss
  • linear/exponential option

Just tried to do it, downloaded the file you sent me (a .bin achive) and it tells me:
Invalid firmware selected
The firmware you selected is invalid.
If you've uploaded custom firmware, check that you've uploaded the correct file type and try again.

Do I have to open the .bin file or convert it into something else?
Please excuse my ignorance in these issues...
I could upgrade all my modules to the latest upgrade. This was cool...

7 days later

Hello, I've just tried it... but now it tells me that it doesnt recognize de module... And now I can't update it and it doesn't work anymore...

This is what it tells me now: Can't update the selected device

The device you selected isn't a Gliss module. Select Gliss from the list to continue.

If Gliss isn't appearing in the list, check your USB connection and click Rescan.

I rescan it and it recognizes the module as a gliss but when I choose it press continue it tells me that

When I first tried it while in the process of rewriting it stopped saying that it couldn't complete the operation and to try again...

And now is dead. No lights, no nothing. just the light from the usb connection. It doesn't work anymore.

Does the button blink red when you give it power?
What operating system are you on?

No, when I give it power the only thing that lits is the white led in the back. I use Windows 10 home.

Get stuck in this step: click Connect. In the dialog that shows up select "DFU in FS mode" and click Connect again

When I click connect it asks me which of the two supposedly connected devices: I've tried choosing both ("chicony electronics corp." or "Ligh on technology corp.") and it says: NotFoundError: Failed to execute 'requestDevice' on 'USB': No device selected.

The only device connected to the computer is the module...

even if I have the module disconnected it asks me to choose between the two supposed devices...

I checked what my computer recognizes and it seems to recognize the controller but it says its not available

The selected device does not have any USB DFU interfaces.

None of those device names sounds right. I would assume the usb cable - or the socket - failed. Do you have a different cable to try?

I've tried different cables and different sockets, I have two cables that are basically new, and three USB sockets in my computer.

I've used one of these cables to update three gliss (one of those is the one we're trying to reanimate) a couple weeks ago with no issues.

It may be something wrong with the USB on the Gliss then, email me to have it replaced.
