violapwr I'm planning to power a few Bela Minis powered by 1 battery with a battery power management board (https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806884677954.html). The management board has 3 grounds: for the usb power, battery, and vin for the Bela. In addition, the Belas will be powering and connected to various circuits: pickup, preamp, and oled screen, all of which connect to the p1.16 gnd. Is it recommended that these various grounds all be connected? Thanks
giuliomoro I think you should have Bela connected to 5 GND and 6 VOUT and then all other ground connections should go to the Bela directly.
violapwr giuliomoro thanks for the quick response! clarifying one point, can i mix the ground nets from the VIN gnd & BAT gnd (on the power mgmt chip) with either the P2.15 and P1.16 ground nets, or should they be kept separate?
giuliomoro Only use 5 GND and 6 VOUT on the power management module. Connect as follows: 5 GND -> P2.15 GND 6 VOUT -> P2.14 VIN.BAT
