Cannot connect my bela mini

Hello
I'm on macOS Catalina 10.15.7
I've just received my first bela mini starter kit.
when I first connected, I imported a pure data project (that I dit at school - I'm a beginner) and it worked for a few minutes. Then the Bela disconnected. Since then I've been unable to connect it again.
I connect my Bela mini unit to my computer using the appropriate USB cable and and I wait for it to boot up. But the Bela doesn't boot, the blue LED lights up but never flashes. And it's impossible to open bela.local.

What could I do or test ?
How to know if something is damaged?

Did you have anything connected to the Mini while it was running? What surface was it resting on?

Can you try to pop out the SD card, push it back in and power it up again?

Hello, yes, when it stopped working it was connected to a breadboard (I’ve made a delay using a distance sensor and potentiometer).
I've put the SD card back in several times. I was working on a wooden desk.
I install the driver too (according to to quick start guide).
But nothing.

I followed the diagram suggested in the bela tutorials. Here is the picture.

I'm also attaching a photo of my assembly.
I did the same at school and everything was working good.

But you should know that since the disconnection problem, I've also tried to connect the bela alone (without any cabling) and it's still not recognised. The blue LED on the power is lit and today I have the fourth blue LED inside the bela flashing like a heart.

When the "heartbeat" works, then it is unlikely that any damage would have occurred to the board unless it's to the USB port itself. Would you be able to try a different USB cable and see if that helps?

Can you report here the response you get when you run these commands in a terminal window on your computer when the board has been plugged in for more than one minute?

this was run on a mac. All looks good, open the terminal there and run the commands above.

Yes, in fact I have a mac and another computer with windows, sothat I tried on each one. But nothing

don't do that. No drivers are needed.

Did you put the SD card back in?

right, so there is no sign of the board on your mac according to the terminal output you posted. Did you run these while the LEDs on the board were blinking according to the "heartbeat" pattern?

No, as I said, only the blue power LED remains lit. I only had the flashing once a few days ago when I warned you about it. But even when I had that heartbeat, the bela wasn't recognized.
