  • Unable to identify Trill Craft

Hi giuliomoro,
i am very confused, the bela mini no longer recognises the trill craft.
I have tried the new trill craft with bela mini and the wiring, as I always do, but I always get this message in the console.
After that I also used another bela mini and an old trill craft, but this error message still came up... even with the different bela mini and trill craft combination variants. I updated both bela minis to the latest version.
I hope you can help me!

    Dear Guiliomoro,
sorry for the late response. I just tried it again and now it works again...
I had used this wiring that I have always used: But now I have reresearched through the bela learning and found out this wiring:

    With this wiring it works.
I'm still a bit puzzled. Have there been any changes or anything?

frfr I had used this wiring that I have always used:

this is wrong: you are using the analog input pins on the 10x1 analog in header instead of the the I2C lines that are next to them on the 2x18 header P2. It may have been a wiring mistake when you tried this?

Yes, it's very strange because somehow it always worked that way and we also used this wiring in our courses with bela and trill craft.
I will use the other wiring from now on... 🙂

I guarantee you that this wiring would never work: this has SCL and SDA from the sensor connected to the analog input! It's just off by one .
