Hello, I'm building a Pepper V2 for a friend. The resources on github are great but regarding the 8x 50k potentiometers, it's not 100% clear to me. The BOM has 3 links, the 1st to the Thonk online shop but they have all their D-shaft pots there. The Mouser link is more helpful with A5J at the end, but the description on the page says linear and the datasheet also seems to show 2 contradictory answers, first Linear, than Log.
I should have checked the 3rd link but didn't think of that until now.
I rather not solder the pots I have. Desoldering 8 pots is too high a risk for me, potentially lifting a tab & damaging the PCB.

Thanks for helping & for all the replies to the various posts on here, what a resource 🙌

I've just checked the BOM and opened the 3rd link to the RS page. It says it's a "9mm Snap-In Metal Shaft
Applications in personal audio and home appliances
    Logarithmic Potentiometers"

Bug under the specifications tab the "electrical taper" is Linear. I guess this is part of what's causing my confusion.

Linear ! And 100k. The50k were for pre-2022 BOMs. I updated the page to be clearer.

Optical-Collusion I've just checked the BOM and opened the 3rd link to the RS page

was that one of the older BOMs? The current one is this one and it has no RS link for the pots.

Optical-Collusion honk online shop but they have all their D-shaft pots there

Note that the pot's name in he BOM is "B100k" which has an exact match in the Thonk page. The fact that different manufacturers (Japan vs rest of the world) use A and B swapped for log and linear doesn't make things easier ...
