Hi,
I'm just starting with the Bela, and I've so far looked at the browser IDE, and then the Bela scripts.
The whole thing looks good - unfortunately, when I run a build, I have no idea what commands are actually running. I've seen that there is Verbose build errors under IDE Settings, which I've enabled - but obviously, this doesn't produce any verbose messages in case there are no errors.
So what I'd like to know, when I'm building in the IDE, is which Makefile is running and at what path, and all of the actual gcc
/g++
compilation commands with all their switches, as well as compiler warnings and errors. How do I obtain this for builds done through the IDE?
I also tried the Bela scripts; I assumhttps://forum.bela.io/d/384-obtaining-bela-build-logs-ideed they would be more verbose, but not that much - when I run the command recommended in the build_project.sh wiki example, I get:
$ ./build_project.sh ../examples/01-Basics/print/

Again no g++
compilation lines, or compiler warnings or anything - and if I run ./build_project.sh --help
, I cannot see anything about "log" or "verbose".
So let me extend the question - how do you obtain verbose build (compilation and linking) logs for builds in either the IDE, or through the ./build_project.sh
script?
PS: You cannot change post titles in this forum, can you? Could a forum administrator do it? Now I guess a a more appropriate title would be "Obtaining Bela build logs (IDE or scripts)?", so if a forum administrator can change this post title to that, please do so...
