not beautiful but helpful. E.g. to print it out. I also have a pdf but the forum did not allow me to upload that.
Thanks that looks great. However the 5V you highlight is not connected to the barrel. It actually has a 220ohm resistor in series, which has the advantage of being able to short it to ground without damaging the board, however is not ideal to power 5V devices that draw more than a few mA. The 5V from the BBB's internal regulator (current-lmiited) are available on P9-7/8 (two rows above the 3.3.V), while the unregulated 5V from the barrel connector are available on P9-5/6 (the row just above 3.3V).
is J1 (AMP-5V) also unregulated RAW_POWER! ?
Yes that is actually shorted to the P9-5/6 and the barrel connector. The purpose of J1 is exactly to be able to solder your own wires to power the cape and the BeagleBone in case:
a) you have a bb green (which does not have the barrel connector), or
b) you want to remote the power leads somewhere else than the barrel connector

I'd like to have a copy of this image (after it's been rotated by 180 degrees, of course), to add to the wiki. Could you share the source for it? We could add it to resources/
on the repo.

Was this intentional or did something go wrong when exporting the pdf?
It does not seem to help for legibility
