Feedback Cancellation

Does anyone have experience with feedback cancellation using Bela?

I was looking at some open source hearing aid projects like the Typman (https://github.com/Tympan/Tympan_Library) and openMHA (https://github.com/HoerTech-gGmbH/openMHA) and they contain some acoustic feedback cancellation code.

The hardware for both of the projects is not available for purchase anymore, so I was wondering - has anyone tried to do anything with porting this code over to Bela with either of these projects?

I don't think there's anything like this readily available. What microphones would you use as inputs?

Hey giuliomoro - I'm using some Infineon IM69D130 mics: https://www.infineon.com/dgdl/Infineon-IM69D130-DS-v01_00-EN.pdf?fileId=5546d462602a9dc801607a0e46511a2e

I've got inputs working from the mic, just trying to work out some of the code from one of the above repos to see if I can get feedback cancellation working.

Those microphones seem to have PDM output... how are you connecting them to Bela?

Whoops. I definitely linked the wrong mic somehow (used browser autocomplete and it went to another mic I considered for a different approach). Sorry about that.
