korhanerel Wow, glad to have started a discussion that will lead to Bela becoming even better. I will purchase the E-Mu MIDI interface anyway to use it with the Organelle. I'll try it with the Bela too and post the results here. Thanks!
giuliomoro thank you. I will rebuild the kernel next week and see if that behaves better with USB. Will send anyone interested a test image to help us testing it.
nuromantix I finally have a MIDI interface that is fully working. Ploytec chips work with Bela and fully support clock in/out as well as all the other MIDI messages.
ReverendGreen nuromantix Apologies if this is a noob question, but how do you hook up the Ploytec chip with the Bela and get them to communicate? I want to run a PD patch from the Bela that can Midi clock sync with other Midi/USB Midi devices (mainly with the Bela being the master clock, not so much the slave) And I'm wondering if this is the approach I need. Any help would be hugely appreciated.
nuromantix I got hold of one of these boards, but it's quite hard to find them: http://www.ucapps.de/mbhp_usb_gm5.html then just use a USB cable!
nuromantix MIDISport is cheap and will handle MIDI clock output but it won't receive.... maybe you could use that?
