Missing UGens

Hi Marije,

I find two classes in my patch not defined: A2K.ar and BLowCut.ar. Are these classes which are not in the current SC version in the bela image, or is there another reason why I get the 'Class not defined' within the Bela IDE?

@nescivi it actually keeps saying it with other classes as well: AnalogInput.ar it doesn't get. Does that mean that I don't have the right classes installed on the board yet? I thought they'd already be there coming with the new image, or did I get that wrong?

I think AnalogInput has been renamed to AnalogIn, you can download here the latest ugens, though I am not sure what version of SuperCollider is currently on your board.
I think we used A2K together on your board and it worked alright, but was it not lower case a2k (if that makes a difference in SC, I don't know)?
BLowCut, I have no clue.

Yes, just after I posted the question I read a post about the AnalogIn instead of AnalogInput (that's why I deleted the questions shortly after I asked 🙂). Thanks!
I suppose the latest UGens are on the board now (though I used another filter instead of BLowCut). The image I got was still without SC examples, but mounted the new image and that appears to work. However, yet I don't see how I can know whether I should go through the installation/build of SC or not (when it doesn't work of course..., that would be one reason). Does it only has to do with the image on the SD card, or are extensions and UGens installed on the internal memory on the board?

nescivi I'm going to try AnalogIn.kr! (if that's what you mean though)

looks like BLowCut is part of a quark, it is defined in here:

It seems the original question got lost...

The new image should have the UGens AnalogIn, AnalogOut, etc... so naming without the *put at the end, to match the naming of SoundIn, In, etc. in SC.

And these versions can be run at controlrate directly, so if you do not need things to run at audiorate you can slow them down by using .kr; that removes the need for A2K.

Thanks @nescivi, the SC3 plugins should be on the board. If Dianne still has the image that we gave her at STEIM, then I am not sure what should be in there, I think that one came with "analogInput"-ugens, but the sc3-plugins should be there (99% sure).

A2K only exists in the .kr mode, so A2K.kr instead of A2K.ar.

But with the new versions of the Bela UGens you won't need it.
