Ross Hello, Is there any way to control the Bela mini on-board Led using C++ on render function? I am aware that I can disable the led, tickbox in the IDE, from the Settings -> Disable LED Thanks
giuliomoro Yes, see here https://learn.bela.io/using-bela/technical-explainers/other-uses-of-gpio-pins/
Ross Thanks a lot for the fast reply With bela mini and GPIO=89 I successful control the led(red led) I try to control the led GPIO=87 (Blue led), but it did not work. Is it possible to control the GPIO=87 led? Also On the example -> digital -> synchronous-gpio There is a user command line argument: But when I run the program I get this warning /root/Bela/projects/exampleTempProject/exampleTempProject: unrecognized option '--disable-cape-button-monitoring' https://learn.bela.io/using-bela/technical-explainers/command-line-arguments/#--disable-cape-button-monitoring https://learn.bela.io/using-bela/technical-explainers/the-bela-button/ Thanks
giuliomoro Ross On the example -> digital -> synchronous-gpio There is a user command line argument: Thanks for pointing it out. I fixed that now. You should use --stop-button-pin -1 instead as a command line option. With that option I can control both LEDs when running the example, changing 89 to 87 as appropriate.
mikst Is it possible to control on-board LED from pure data? I am not sure which pin I should address from pure data. BelaMini LEDs "P1.02", 0xe4 0x27 / MODE7 | INPUT | GPIO2[23], blue LED/ "P1.04", 0xec 0x27 / MODE7 | INPUT | GPIO2[25], red LED /
mikst oh ok. I wanted to use it as a quick indicator for mode change, and thought it will be nice to use on-board LED. If this is not available, I will add an extra LED on one of the output pins. Thanks for answering! Is there a plan of implementing it in future? or is it just not possible?? I was also wondering if it is possible to control neoPixel from Bela output pins.
giuliomoro mikst Is there a plan of implementing it in future? or is it just not possible?? here's a new example I just made to do just that https://github.com/giuliomoro/bela-pd-gpio mikst I was also wondering if it is possible to control neoPixel from Bela output pins. code to do that is available here but it could use some refactoring and it is not usable from Pd at the moment.
giuliomoro giuliomoro code to do that is available here but it could use some refactoring and it is not usable from Pd at the moment. Actually it can now be controlled via OSC, so also from Pd. See https://forum.bela.io/d/3001-control-neopixel-with-pure-data/7
