in an emergency situation such as this one you can normally free a sizeable amount of space with

this specific error could be due to the internals of how the old file is deleted after the new one is copied. You may want to try and delete it before uploading the new one. It may also You may also have something
left in /root/Bela/uploads
, so try rm -rf /root/Bela/uploads

Well, you could update the Bela code on your board without deleting the projects, but if you have a bunch of large files in the projects that won't fix anything.
You could try du -sh /root/Bela/projects/*
to see if any project is unexpectedly using a lot of space.
