Trill Craft Not Recognized

Hello everyone,

I'm having issues with the Trill Craft. I wanted to use its capacitive touch capabilities and use copper tape as an interaction point for an exhibition. I'm working with Pure Data, but every time I hook everything up and run the "capacitive sensing" example patch, it tells me:

Unable to identify device
Unable to create Trill CRAFT device `mycraft` on bus 1 at default address. Is the device connected?
bela_setTrill sensor_id unknown: mycraft

I'm not sure what the issue is. I assumed the default patch would work automatically as long as everything is hooked up, and I indeed have everything set up as in the example image here: https://learn.bela.io/assets/images/fritzing/pd//capacitive-sensing.png.

Does anyone know what the issue might be? Thank you for your time!

Can you run the following in the console at the bottom of the IDE and post back here the result?

i2cdetect -y -r 1

right, it doesn't look like the device is connected properly. Could you double check the wiring and/or post a picture of your setup?

I couldn't attach the images for some reason – it kept giving me an error.

Could it be the USB? If it's connecting to the IDE it can't be an issue can it? I have also changed the four connectors with new ones, but the issue persists.

MaksymPrykhodko Wow wow I just figured it out. I switched the yellow and white wires in the diagram. head slap I had to cross my eyes but somehow didn't figure out they were backwards until now. Thank you for your help!
