Dead Bela Starter Kit

Hi! My Bela just died 🙁 so, the symptoms are:

If I plug a usb or/and click the power little button, the led just blinks one time, not booting up. I read somewhere that this is an indication that the BeagleBone is dead or I rather say I killed it...
If you have another idea, please let me know.
Anyway, if there is no hope, I have to buy a new BeagleBone. Is this one the right one?

yeah that sounds like a dead BBB. Can you try disconnecting the cape and all wires from the Beaglebone and only plug in the USB cable: does the problem persist? If it does, then the above looks exactly like what you need as a replacement.

All analog inputs read 0.5

Ok, installed and flashed with Bela's software. Everything looked good until...
I had strange readings from a LDR so I did a basic test. Nothing connected to Bela, only usb power and all the analog inputs have readings. Shouldn't it be 0v?
Second test: connect a cable from 3.3v to analog input. The readings increase just by 0.1...

I hope is my mistake and not a Bela's Health...

The opamps that are in front of the analog ins have a high impedance input which is not referenced to ground, so when nothing is plugged into them, the input value should not be relied upon.

[adc~7] is analog input 4. Plug 3v3 into analog input 4 and you should read a value between 0.81 and 0.82. Alternatively, use [adc~ 3] and plug into analog input 0.
