A few things can go wrong, when you build Pepper (rev2).
Building instructions: https://github.com/BelaPlatform/bela-pepper/wiki/Building-Rev2
- Step 24:
Big disappointment (that was a false impression as you can see below from @giuliomoro 's answer!)
I had said: "*One cannot use an existing Beagle Bone Black presoldered to a Bela cape. No way to solder a female 4-pin header into the Bela cape without unsoldering the cape from the Beagle Bone. "
I was wrong. Should have used my hands to pry the two things apart.
- Step 17. My mistake: I soldered a male 3 pin-header, instead of a female in step 17 (Bela Audio In). Changed this and hope i didn't damage the connecting board holes during unsoldering (they don't look great).
If so: How/where would i hardwire connections, in case i ruined the board holes?
- Step 22. Another mistake: I soldered in the LED bar without looking for proper height, which leads to this being down in the hole now. Oh well. I can live with it.
I'd be happy about suggestions for the first two problems, anyone?
