Hi everyone,
this is my first project with bela so please be patient with my questions 🙂
So one big problem right now is that the CTAG doesn't boot in standalone mode.
It is a CTAG FACE Starter Kit together with the cape which I use for an interactive sound installation. The .pd code I wrote seems to work via the IDE.
Here at home, I am having a bela Starter Kit from my uni and I tried the same code, only a bit modified due to less outputs, I chose in the IDE settings to boot this project and everything works: the code, the digital input I am using, the sound, the booting process. So I don't think that there is something wrong with the code at least...
One idea that I have is:
I am not sure if it is normal for the CTAG (or bela in general) to not show its sd card when I connect it to the computer, but it behaves differently from the usual Bela; in my Computer System (Mac OS Mojave) the bela's SD card is not shown. My bela at home shows its sd card, and CTAG doesn't.
The problem right now is that the museum I am working with has already installed the CTAG to a control box there and I can't take it home for testing, so I am trying now to find out, what I can try when I will be there tomorrow and the days after that. I have now flashed some spare SD-cards that I have lying around, to try them tomorrow. Also I thought about dismounting the CTAG from the beagleBoneBlack and from the Cape to try the parts without the CTAG - maybe something is broken or a part is not working properly? I mean hardwarewise...
If someone has an idea, I would be more than grateful!
