Hello. When I drag and drop the zip file for the lecture, I get this error message:
"Error extracting zip archive /tmp/sine-generator_Z5TbLl/sine-generator.zip: Could not find the End of Central Directory Record". Any ideas? I have upgraded to the new software.

it would seem that your downloaded file is corrupted. To clarify, to download it you have to go to this page and click "download"

Thanks. I downloaded it. Now, when I drop it, it asks me to create a new folder. I say "yes", but nothing happens. I only see "Create project from zip archive sine-generator sine-generator.zip..." in the terminal.

I see. Can you try to shut down the board, close the browser tab, reconnect the board, open a new bela.local/ tab and try again, maybe giving the project a different name?

Well, it does work with sine-rt, but not with sine. When I unzip and drop render.cpp to a new project, it works.

Sorry. I rebooted the computer, I rebooted Bela a few times and tried different usb ports, but it can't create a new project via drag and drop. I also tried with the "risset" zip. I also tried on a different laptop. Maybe something is wrong with the software upgrade?

          Hi, I have exactly the same problem, which persists after rebooting and updating to the latest Bela core/IDE code, which I downloaded today. None of the .zip files work (shepard-risset and both sine generator files). I've also tried rebooting a few times, etc.

            the latest image does not yet contain the bleeding edge Bela code. You need to download the latest Bela core code from here, go to the IDE and select "Update Bela" and upload that archive. This process is described in detail in this part of lesson 0.
