I exported a simple karplus strong algorithm example from the faust website at
https://faust.grame.fr/tools/editor/?code=https://faust.grame.fr/doc/examples/img/src/exfaust97/exfaust97.dsp
to Bela and imported the resulting render.cpp into Bela.
But I got compiler errors like this ...
In file ./include/legacy/OSCServer.h: You included file OSCServer.h. This is no longer available and you should instead use #include <libraries/OscReceiver/OscReceiver.h>. See the example Commmunication/OSC for more details column: 2, line: 2
I fixed it up to get rid of the OSC compilation errors but couldn't get Midi to to work though the example would work in the Faust Web editor, so I assumed that the Faust support is dropped due to the compilation errors or maybe Faust needs to update something on their Bela architecture files? Either way it ain't working for me.
Maybe I need to dig deeper. I haven't looked at C++ in over 15 years and unenthusiastic about revisiting it :-)
Appreciate the great work you are doing but I was hoping to avoid C++ and things like PD are not my thing, though I may go down the SuperCollider route. However Faust looked really good for my project and I liked the look of it even if it is a bit obtuse.
