Just build Pepper, but when examining the schematics diagram of the module I maybe spotted an
error.
Pepper is said to be +/-10V safe
"Only positive voltages (0-10V) can be read from the analog and digital inputs although Pepper is +/-10V safe."
But when configuring some of the inputs as triggers to digital input there are voltage divider on
the board which gives around 6 V to the Bela digital in that could damage them.
(for example R14 (33k) and R2 (68k) to Input D12)
"Digital I/O levels are 0/3.3V.
Mind that these are the BeagleBone's AM3358's own digital pins, so make sure you NEVER exceed 3.3V or you
will brick your BeagleBone Black."
As well there are no protection diodes on the board to protect for negative voltages.
Or am I wrong and that has been fixed already on the PCB?
Tnx a lot
Cheers,
M
