Bela gem stereo not recognising Midi

Hi there - I had this working fine with an LPD8, but it no longer recognises it. Tried MPK-Mini too and no joy. In the IDE, I get
The following MIDI devices are enabled:
Num Name In Out Pd channels
[ 0] hw:1,0,0 x x (1-16)

Any thoughts? Should I just reset the Bela?

Try running dmesg -w while you connect the device and see if it prints anything about the USB device being connected.

Hi there figured it out: it was seeing the LPD8 as hw: 0,0,0 - a pd message to set midi fixed it in the patch. Cheers!

Make sure you update your board via the IDE, then the device to the host should always be hw:0,0,0 and the one connected over USB should be the hw:1,0,0 and above.
