New Bela Multi Starter Kit SDCard Dead on Arrival

I'm a little surprised... I just got a Bela Gem Multi dev kit and got around to plugging it in after a few weeks and found that the pre flashed SD card was not only not bootable, but actually completely dead. Has this happened before?

After flashing one of my own microSD's and loading it up we're off to the races so it's not a big deal, but I thought I should report this just in case there's some batch issue. It was shipped to me in CA/USA but I've never experienced this with a memory device before.

Sorry to hear that, this must have slipped through the cracks; to clarify, by "completely dead" do you mean that you reflashed the SD card that you received but this was not enough to make it work?

No, I was not even able to mount and reflash the card that it shipped with. I had to use a different one that I had on hand.

Thanks... it was order 26338. I just wanted to raise the point in case you find out this extends to other pre flashed cards as well. Good to be aware if you got a bad batch or have a process issue somewhere along the line.
