Hey,

Workin on an instal here, multiphonic fix system with bela as brain sample player.
At the moment we experienced differents unexcplicated bug like the loop didn't start at a moment in the day and more recently stuff like harsh electric sound very clear and scated what make me think more arround tension issues on the board than problems in my speakers / amps sytsem.
Multiples questions :

Are litle unstability in tension can affect Bela board and cause random bug ?
Do you have power supply reco ?

it shouldn't.

Any power supply with 1A or more should be fine.

Okidok so the usbC set up I'm using should be fine but if there is some trouble in the 220v at the origine in the rack it can affect the board right ?

What i tryed to explained is that we experienced some random bug like :

the sample player was perfectly playing all the day but at a moment it didn't start correctly. Sometimes for three time and then restart.
Recently the harsh noise scated sound only on outputs 3-4 then playback correctly.

That why I asked for power supply advices, because after all ( also some bug on the light board of my team MINIMAD ) we start doubting on the initial power source.

What is it that tells the player to starts playing a sample? Could that be the thing that is failing? Can you access the IDE after one of these failures to see whether you can see whether anything was logged when the issue happened? If you have one of these (or can otherwise connect to the sh1.0 connector on the PB2, you can access the serial port while the board is running (even if the USB port is otherwise busy) to read those logs. Or you can otherwise make sure the logs are saved to disk so you can access them after a reboot.

Sorry for the long mess incoming

We have two set up _
two BelaGemMulti running PD patches

Set up 1_ patchuse 3 read sf
-[readsf 10] trigg by a bonk (link to an audiojacks from the minimad sending a clic at begining of the loop to get sync)
bang at ending, reload and wait to replay
-[readsf 2] is used to create an invisble loop, it's banged after a delay wich start from the received bonk bang
-[readsf 2] is another player asychrone bang at end, reload and replay etc.

Set up 2 _ this one is autonome,
-[readsf 4] bang at end, reload and replay etc.

The set up 2 is the first wich went wrong, slowly sound like guns, crackling glitchy sound appeared.
The only way I found to solve was to erase and reload the project on the board.
When i removed the "sick" Bela crackling etc, I've launch it away from the set up from my pc, bug was still present but nothing was printed in the console.

Slowly this prob appear in set up 2, I did the same things.

All the audio set up, patch, sync worked perfectly the first 3 days, this i why I'm questionning something external like power supply, external power tension or others.

I defo need to find a way to monitor the boards, thanks for the link, i didn't knew that some board like this exist, top 🙂
I will dive in the IDE saving logs options to set it up ! thx.

What I did at now :
We change the Bela and Beagle with the spare we buyed in set up 2 ( I've monitor the patch for like 2/3h x2 days from the board before set it up) : No problems at home - after ₄₅min Bela audio stopped to work ( i had to reboot her to relaunch audio)

I've also reload the project on the Bela of SetUp 1 and sometimes audio is cuting while keeping playing just cut in play.

Do you have anyhting that writes to disk repeatedly and may be filling it up?

Only reading.

Tryed the system again at home, absolutely no issues. I think there is mess in the room in situ, something that interfer with the board.
