How to use Cyclone/ELSE objects?

I'm porting some patches from Plugdata over to the Bela Gem Multi, and there are two external objects I'm using, [cyclone/tosymbol] and [else/changed]. How do I get those over onto the new Bela?

for cyclone/tosymbol can you not use vanilla's [makefilename] ?

Hmmm. [makefilename] isn't working quite like [tosymbol].

I'm missing something.

and my other dumb question...
I'm wondering if I should just copy the ELSE objects I need out of that zip into my project folder, or is there a right way to install the whole external?

you can use something like this, then?

For else, you should be able to simply add the files you need, but also you can unzip the whole thing into /root/Bela/projects/pd-externals/else and have full access to them.

Brilliant! I would have never though of that list/symbol solution. I tested it and that works.
