Hey,
I'm trying to port some stuff to gem, it seems math_neon.h is deprecated as there are macros in libraries/math_neon/math_neon.h that replace some of the functions with the normal c math functions.
Is math_neon deprecated because gem is 64 bit and math_neon was based on of 32-bit tricks? Something else?
I can't find the Bela core for Gem anywhere on github, so I'll paste this here with the full list of marco's
#pragma once
#if __has_include_next(<math_neon.h>)
#include_next <math_neon.h>
#else
#include <math.h>
#define sinf_neon(a) sinf(a)
#define cosf_neon(a) cosf(a)
#define tanf_neon(a) tanf(a)
#define asinf_neon(a) asinf(a)
#define acosf_neon(a) acosf(a)
#define atanf_neon(a) atanf(a)
#define sinhf_neon(a) sinhf(a)
#define coshf_neon(a) coshf(a)
#define tanhf_neon(a) tanhf(a)
#define expf_neon(a) expf(a)
#define logf_neon(a) logf(a)
#define log10f_neon(a) log10f(a)
#define floorf_neon(a) floorf(a)
#define ceilf_neon(a) ceilf(a)
#define fabsf_neon(a) fabsf(a)
#define sqrtf_neon(a) sqrtf(a)
#define invsqrtf_neon(a) invsqrtf(a)
#define atan2f_neon(a, b) atan2f((a), (b))
#define powf_neon(a, b) powf((a), (b))
#define fmodf_neon(a, b) fmodf((a), (b))
#endif
Haven't checked if they all behave as expected, but at least it compiles now 🙂
