Liblo not available in Bela Gem?

Typing apt-cache search liblo gives this on my Bela Gem stereo:

liblocale-gettext-perl - module using libc functions for internationalization in Perl
liblockfile-bin - support binaries for and cli utilities based on liblockfile
perl - Larry Wall's Practical Extraction and Report Language

while on my laptop (Debian 13), I get liblo7 - Lightweight OSC library. So, is liblo not available in Bela's repositories? Should I build from source?

we are using Debian 12 Bookworm on the board; it looks like libo7 and liblo-dev should be available through apt. With the board connected to the internet, do apt-get update, then you'll get:

root@bela:~# apt-cache search liblo7
liblo7 - Lightweight OSC library
root@bela:~# apt-cache search liblo-dev
liblo-dev - Lightweight OSC library -- development files

if you don't want to go through the trouble of connecting the board to the internet, you can simply donwload and install these packages instead (as given from apt-get install --print-uris liblo-dev):
