maxtnt_ I should send some data from Matlab to Bela over UDP and use these informations to change Bela's variables and control the Bela's functions (as start reading an input, stop reading it, ecc). Anyone can help me to write the correct C++ code? Thanks in advance!
giuliomoro check out the UdpServer and UdpClient classes on Bela: they are lightweight and easy to use in order to be able to receive and send UDP messages
maxtnt_ Is it possible that Bela cannot send UDP message over the port? I notice that the port 7562 is blocked when Bela try to send messages.
giuliomoro That is port 7562 on the host or on Bela? If on the host, do you have anything on the host listening on that port? On Bela, to see who's using a port you can do: netstat -atunp | grep 7562
maxtnt_ 7562 is the host (Matlab) port. In Matlab I've opened an UDP connection and fread function (or fscanf, I've tried everything) is waiting for a massage from Bela.
giuliomoro is it possible that you have a firewall issue on your host? The utilities in Bela/resources/network/ could be used for a simple, barebone client/server test: https://github.com/BelaPlatform/Bela/tree/master/resources/network . This would allow to identify if the issue is with/within matlab
