I2C speed Bela Trill Pd

Hi everyone,
I’m planning to use a Trill Bar connected to the Qwiic connector on a Bela Gem, but with a somewhat longer cable than usual (50cm).
From what I’ve read, longer I²C cables can benefit from reducing the bus speed (e.g. going from 400 kHz down to 100 kHz) to improve stability.
Is that something I should consider in this setup? And if so, how can I change the I²C speed on Bela?
For context, I’m working with a Pure Data patch.

Try to use the default 400khz and see if it causes trouble first. Changing it is not straightforward
