How to select a port of the trill craft sensor in particular ?

Hello, we are wondering whether it's possible or not to select an unique port of our trill craft sensor because we only need data from one port and others shouldn't give to our Arduino any information/data.
Also, our project needs to be faster so if the sensor is collecting data from one port after another (that means for example in one minute it might be checking 1 port 2 times to check all of the 30 ports if the speed is 1 check per second), but we're not sure that the sensor is working like that, maybe the data collect is done at the same time for every port.
So, is it possible to "select" one port and get rid of the others ? And if yes, can you give me the Arduino instruction to do that ? It would help us.

What do you mean "port"? A sensor channel? If your craft has a firmware version 3, you can use the channel mask to enable only the channels you care about. I don't believe that is present in the Arduino API, but you can have a look at how it's implemented in the Linux API and port that across:

Once you read from it after setting the channel mask, you should only read as many channels as there are set bits in the channel mask: they will be reordered for you. For instance if your channel mask is 0x30 (enables channels 4 and 5 only), then you should only read two channels: the first will be channel 4, the second will be channel 5.
