Issue with Chrome browser

Hi,

Does anyone have any idea as to why the IDE isn't loading in chrome? I've tried the Gem Multi and the old Bela. It loads fine on other browsers and on Chrome on other computers but not on the macbook.
I've tried all the troubleshooting suggestions and still no luck.

Yeah, I spotted that when I was troubleshooting yesterday and no luck I'm afraid.

What do you get when opening http://bela.local in chrome? What about using the IP address directly http://192.168.7.2 ? Does the IP address work in other browsers?:

Other things to check are:

have you got a vpn enabled?
have you got a chrome extension that prevents loading non-https pages?
try disabling all chrome extensions?

I get a the standard

"This site can’t be reached
http://bela.local/ is unreachable.
ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE"

And no VPN. I tried with all the extensions turned off now and still no luck. It's really strange as it works on my other mac. I did update the macbook to the new Tahoe yesterday but I can still open the IDE on Firefox, so it's probably not related to that.

Oh yeah! It worked. I did the following:

Cleared browser cache
Delete all extensions
Cleared host cache (chrome://net-internals/#dns)
Cleared bad proxies (chrome://net-internals/#proxy)
Close idle Sockets (chrome://net-internals/#sockets)
Flush Socket Pools (chrome://net-internals/#sockets)

And it worked after.

were you able to test after each one, or did you just test before all and after all?. I.e.: were you able to identify which one actually fixed the issue?

Without knowing much about Chrome internals, I would expect only "delete all extensions" and "Cleared host cache" to be the only meaningful ones

I did yeah, I removed all the extensions yesterday and it did nothing. So I think it must have been the "cleared host cache" - Though I have no idea as to what was actually blocking the IDE from loading.
