Gem Multi not recognized by computer

I just received my Gem Multi. I flashed the SD card, inserted it into the PB and connected to my computer (MacBook pro with macos Tahoe 26.0.1). The Gem multi starts flashing the blue light, and the PB has a solid red and a flashing green light, but I am unable to acces the IDE via http://bela.local/ or http://192.168.7.2/ . I notice that I don't see the Boot SD card in my fnder, which I seem to remember seeing when connecting the old Bela

on your computer, if you got to SystemSettings->Network, do you see any active device called Bela-abcd (where instead of abcd you will see a string specific to your board)?

Also please show the output of the following commands when executed in a terminal:

ifconfig;
ls /dev/tty*bela*;
ioreg -p IOUSB -w0 -l;

The Bela is recognized in SystemSettings->Network with the ip address 192.168.7.1.

I got it to work. Permissions for Firefox (and Chrome) to communicate with devices on my local network had been unticked in the security settings (which is odd, since it always worked with my old Bela). I can now access the IDE. Thanks!

Thanks for reporting that, could you please elaborate where you had to set those permissions?

Yes, it's under Privacy and Security -> Local Network
It must have changed during some recent software update
