As a test I have made a very simple PD patch that detects a key being pressed (non-latching) on a digital input.
So the circuit is just a key with one side attached directly to the digital input and also via a 100kOhm resistor to ground. The other side of the key is attached to the 3.3V supply.
I used a good quality cherry MX key.
PD prints the status of the digital input to the console window.
The input is set to run at message rate.
This basically works as expected, when you press the key you see a 1, when you release it you see a 0.
But if you press and release quickly, the way you would if typing, then you get a double or triple trigger.
So instead of getting 1 then 0, you get 1 then 0 then 1 then 0.
Any ideas why? I'm guessing it's a circuitry thing, not a Bela thing.....
