Which Analog Channel is Sampled First?

Hello,

I am using the audio expander with bela cape rev B and am trying to measure the time delay between each analog channel per sample. I am using 8 channels at 22050 Hz sampling rate. From this post here it says that channel 0 is sampled first, but from my measurements (connecting all channels together, playing sine sweep, calculating phase shift) it seems that channel 7 is measured first and channel 0 is measured last. Is 7 the first channel to be sampled or am I doing something wrong in my calculations?

that's possible: we have changed quite a few things in the way channels are sampled since that post

Oops, just to revisit this I realized there was actually a mistake in what I was doing and channel 0 is indeed sampled first
