Cross talk with Bela Mini Multichannel?

Hello,

I have the following setup:

Bela Mini with Multichannel Expander

CyFi Nu Pickup

Both are ideally being powered off the same supply, and the pickup is just monitoring a string and passing that through to the Bela.

I'm also outputting a Sin Wave, although not for direct output to speakers, that's being used in an external op-amp circuit where it's being amplified. However, even though I'm not sending the Sin Wave out to my headphones, I'm still hearing it quite loudly.

The problem goes away if I disconnect the pickup, so I suspect some sort of cross-talk is happening. Any solutions to try and fix this?

So you are sending the sine wave out of one channel but you hear it on another one?

What if you disconnect the output of the sinewave to the opamp?

Right, I’m hearing the Sine wave coming into the pickup somehow. If I disconnect the op amp it goes away. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated!

Hmm it's a bit abstract the way you are describing it, with lots of potential pathways for crosstalk also outside Bela. You'll need to start trying out different configurations where you change one thing at a time and evaluate the results
