ADC~ 3 and 4 work great on example Pure Data project, not on mine?

I've been banging my head against the wall all day trying to add potentiometers for adc in, and dac out, to my Pure Data project on the Bela Cape.

The example files work fine, [ADC~ 3 4] etc. I can't even get those to print in my patch. If I try to add ADC~ 3 to the audio chain it just mutes it. log prints come out as zero.

So yea, the hardware and pins works perfectly in the example pure data analog in example. no clue what is messing them up in mine. would love some help as I'm still very new to the bela and pure data as well.

There's a setting option in the IDE that allows to disable analogs. See if you have that set?
In case of doubt, create a new project from scratch and drop your files on it
