Trill Craft/CapSense and ESD

Hi, I'm working on a museum installation that includes capacitive touch, and started worrying about ESD
Does anyone have experience with long term usage of capacitive touch and/or protection against ESD?
Is Trill (Craft) protected against ESD?

The pins are resistant against 2kV ESD . Anything more than that and you'll need dedicated protection diode. Or you can cover your sensing surface with some sort of insulation, thus reducing the risk of ESD discharge.
