The uEnv.txt
file in the BELABOOT partition currently should like more or less like this:
uenvcmd=....
bela_loadoverlay=...
uboot_overlay_addr2=/lib/firmware/BB-BELA-B2.dtbo
console=ttyS0,115200n8
You can add more lines to add more overlays, e.g.:
uboot_overlay_addr1=/lib/firmware/BB-UART4-00A0.dtbo
uboot_overlay_addr3=/lib/firmware/BB-UART2-00A0.dtbo
The overlays are applied in order (as denoted by the X
in uboot_overlay_addrX
), and any fragment in an overlay which conflicts with a previously-claimed pin is not going to be applied. The Bela overlay is here.
You can however configure individual pins from user space using the config-pin
program.
The instructions I put in the release say :
support for uboot overlays: add more overlays to uEnv.txt with uboot_overlay_addrX= where X is a number between 0 and 7
In light of the above more detailed instructions, do you need they need to be rephrased?
