JST female to board?

Hi, the trill bar comes with a Qwiic JST connector and a wire assembly with a female connector. I wonder if somebody has an idea how to skip the wires and go directly to a PCB board? There is no space for wires. Am I right that the pitch is 2 mm? I have looked for female Qwiic JST connectors that have a through hole connection on the other side, but I can't find any. The sturdiness of the Qwiic JST connection in itself would be just perfect for my needs.

You can solder your wire directly to the pads which are there for that reason just in front of the QWIIC. The pitch of these pads is 1.8mm. You are right that there are no through hole variants for these QWIIC JST available, only SMT.

Pads for soldering seen here. You can also remove the JST if an extra low profile is needed.
