McASP unexpected transmit frame sync occurred

Hi,

I recently bought the CTAG Beast. I tried it now first time with just regular "basic" examples. They give me only crackling sound in the beginning for couple of seconds before they go quiet. And the log gives error message: "McASP unexpected transmit frame sync occurred
audio frame 31808, errorCode: 3"

I wonder what is going wrong here?

could you remove the top cape and double check the jumper settings on both? The reference is here https://learn.bela.io/using-bela/technical-explainers/configuring-ctag/ , one should be set to "leader" and the other to "follower".

Yes, it is solved, thank you! Both of the capes seemed to have "master" setting with jumpers. I wasn't checking this since I ordered it assembled.

yes that's how it was meant to come , probably a packing mistake in the warehouse, apologies for that and good that it's fixed.
