Hi everyone,
Please, I’d like to implement with Bela Board a device / synth-augmented-instrument like that used for Cantini Electric Violins and Roland GR-55:
- four piezo audio inputs one by each string of an acustic violin [Cantini Violin has magnetic sensor not piezo]
- pitch follower to get the sound from Violin and generate a synth sound mixed with original
Now, I have no problem to set up audio inputs and synth desired sound and/or violin sound and envelope.
What is a problem is the use of [fiddle~] or [sigmund~] in PD, I red that they are not well working on Bela.
I suffer inefficiency and dirty synth sound generated even if with correct detected pitch: may be I have to improve my envelope of the generated synth-sound in response to the detected attack of the bow.
Any esperience about precise pitch detection and audio output with an envelope from acustic instrument ?
Thanks, claudio
