Pd Vanilla documentation?

I have written some Pd patches before using Bela with Pd extended. Now I guess I have to try to redo those as Pd Vanilla. When I try to access Documentation when looking at the Pd Vanilla page here:

It tells me I should use Pd extended. Is there specific documentation for Pd Vanilla?

they probably have not updated their wiki after discontinuing extended.

Just download Pd 0.46 http://puredata.info/downloads/pure-data/releases/0.46-7 and follow the guide here http://en.flossmanuals.net/pure-data/ .
Note that some of the externals provided by Extended are nothing but abstractions (that is: they are Pd patches in themselves). To identify them, right click on the object and if the "open" menu entry is available, then it means they are abstractions. These can be easily re-used with vanilla and with Bela by simply copying the source file in your project folder.

Thanks for the response. We'll see what happens when I try to load my Pd file. Initially I am more interested in writing some C++ code.

Can I use list tosymbol and list fromsymbol with Bela?

they should work just fine when using libpd, but does not work with Heavy
