• Trill
  • Finger triggered looper by touch on Violin Bow

Hi all,
please anybody had experience of a finger touch trigger for looper activation - via cable of course 3.3V/signal/GND or trill channel - attached to an instrument in my case a Violin Bow ?
Better than pedal switch by foot on the ground.
I'm thinking to a Trill Craft, with such a lot of input channels (Start/Stop/Delete/Channels....) using little cupper strips that should be attached to the bow.
.
Any suggestion, confirmation or proposal or experiences ?
Thanks in advance

Two things to keep in mind that are not specific to the bow:

  • the wires to the capacitive pad are themselves a part of the sensor, so they need to be shielded and tied in place
  • often, capacitive "buttons" can be activated inadvertently because they don't offer any mechanical resistance to their activation

ok Thank you so much!
You are right !
All parts cable included are sensible and a cupper pad is not usable for precise commands.
It is better a mini-switch as a ring on a finger in a position easy to be activated on the bow.
My best!
