Read/Record Accelerometer values

Hi there - I'm running a Sparkfun ADXL337 accelerometer into Bela. How can I read or record the values the accelerometer is sending into Bela? I want to know what the values look like in response to different movements, so I can optimise my Pd patch to respond to the accelerometer. Many thanks!

You could monitor the values in real-time using the Bela scope(i.e.: sending them to the [dac~ 27 28 29 30] object.
If you want to save them to disk, you could use the [writesf~] object in pure data to save them as audio files.
