Update SD card via midi

Hi there. I'm building a project with Bela into a box for stage. Occasionally, I'll have to update the PD file in it as I develop the project further. I'd would like to not have to have a tiny USB socket hole in the casing since it's not exactly rugged. Is there a way to update the SD card using a MIDI sysex file for instance? Thanks

no and if there was, it would be through USB-MIDI ... is this a Bela or BelaMini? Bela has an ethernet port which is more 'rugged' than the USB-mini, so that could be another option to access the board. One could also try to access the board via a USB-A to USB-A cable that plugs into the USB-A port. With a firmware change, this port could be made to behave like the other one and the connector is much more resistant ! You could have something like this that you plug in as needed. Or you could consider have a USB mini or micro -> to USB B panel mount breakout, such as this, or there are also some versions with a 90-degree USB mini connector.
