Building Pepper v2 with v1 parts bag

Hey!

So a few months back I ordered the components for the Pepper (thanks Robert!). The problem is I mistakenly asked for the parts for Rev1, and now that I've sat down to actually build it I've realised that I have the Rev2 board. (Sorry Robert!).

So the question is: can I just go ahead and use most of the parts from the Rev1 bag on this Rev2 board, and just order a few parts to make up for it? Or are there any significant issues that might arise in the build I should be aware of?

ah wait hold on a minute...the wiki says "Rev2 has 4 buttons in total as well as amplification on the audio outputs and uses 100K pots." If I look at my parts part I can find 4 buttons, and the potentiometers are indeed 100k. However there was a slip of paper in the bag saying "Bela Pepper V1". Did I perhaps luckily end up with a bag of Rev2 parts after all?

Hi Yann, sorry for the confusion with this. You have the correct set of components for the PCB, rest assured. The slip in with the components is misleading and put in there by Befaco who do the kitting for us and is unrelated. We'll ask them to remove these from future kits to avoid further confusion!
