Hi there,

Is there currently an issue with the support of the snapshot~ object? - it doesn't appear to work when using the example project to output analog data to the console window.

I'm planning on making a device that will take inputs from multiple sensors, but I need a way of visualising this data on the console. I read somewhere that sigmund~ is currently unsupported, but I would have thought the example projects using snapshot~ would work?

Any help is appreciated! Cheers.

Hi,
[snapshot~] works, but you need to send it a metro every time you want it to output something (just like in regular PureData), like this:

Note that you may find that a better way to visualize your analog signals is to send them to the scope. In the example above, [adc~ 3] (which is the analog input 0) is routed to [dac~ 27] (which is the first channel of the scope). Open 192.168.7.2/scope to visualize your signal. Further details will be in the 08-PureData/scope example.
