I started to experiment with Trill Craft sensor for the first time and I would like to make a dancing pole reacting to touch. For that, I was planning to attach a conductive tape on the pole and connect it to Trill Craft. As a first step I made the sensor work and I have a good serial reading in arduino+maxmsp. However I am not sure how I should connect the trill craft to a longer piece of tape. So far I made it very simple, on one channel I soldered a wire and I attached it to the conductive tape (aluminium tape). With a small piece of tape it works fine, I get an okay data out of the Trill.
However the channel gets stuck at the max value with a longer piece of tape (1,5meter) and it doesn't react to my touch or anything. Any suggestions how to make it work with a longer piece of tape?
