Hello,
As some of you know, not many, I have been working on a 3D Printed Violin build w/ Bela and the IDE along w/ a script from one of the people associated w/ Bela.
here:
https://github.com/silver2row/transmogriFX_bela for the Klingon Tone during playing:
I will be uploading two videos worth sharing for 3D Printed violins, music, and ideas in general. For now, my violin is 3/4 size and needs much needed improvements. This is just one idea on what to do and how it looks in the end. The violin was originally planned to be 4/4 size but restrictions of size of build environments created the 3/4 size violin. So, the fingerboard does not have ample room for the placement of fingers. Dang it. I know.
Anyway, here are the videos. Oh and the 3D printed files can be found online for F-F-Fiddle. They produced a pretty neat set up for violins online that is free to build.
This photo is from: https://www.nt-instruments.com/violin/parts-bow/ .
This is the file system that is needed from the repo to handle the tones on Bela.
This is the video showing off the 3D Printed Violin. Enjoy.
And...here are the wretched sounds I produced (so far).
