I want to include a file structure so that the user can load presets and also overwrite them.
On a computer I just put my PD object in the correct place so that when I open it, relative paths work nicely and I have loads of ready-made folders called folder0, folder1, folder2 etc, so I can simply use folder$1 to select different folders.
Is this as simple with Bela?
Can I just load up my folders full of presets using the IDE, into the same project as the PD file?

I just went and learnt some linux syntax and made some directories.... loading and saving works!
Now to figure out how to put the presets inside the folders...

EDIT
As far as I can tell the IDE won't let me create or load a bunch of folders inside my project.
Hopefully I am just being thick?

I don't think there is any way of creating folders through the IDE GUI, because file in subfolders do not get compiled, so we figured that it would be misleading.
You can create folders from the console at the bottom of the IDE:

mkdir -p projects/yourProjectName/yourSub/Folder/Folder

but I guess then you would not be able to access those files from the IDE. Again, if you want to copy files to the subfolders you'd use cp or mv at the console

Yes the bottom of my post was before the edit, then I figured out how to make folders from the command line. Works perfectly and the contents of the folders remains undisturbed when I change the _main file which is great.
