Playing back large files. How?

Hello 🙂
I'd like to use Bela for a project in which I want to play back large (flac?) files from a USB stick. I'm not sure if Bela is the right platform for this but I guess this is the hardware and software I trust most 🙂
Does anyone have an idea on how to get started with this kind of work?

Hello Till,
the sample-streamer-multi example should be a good starting point. The files are loaded in "SampleStream.cpp", which uses the libsndfile API to read the file off the disc. This should be able of transparently handling flac files, although if you play only one or two files at a time, uncompressed wav files should be ok also on slow filesystems.
